SCARBOROUGH CAPTURES DIV 1-A TITLE

MIAMI BEACH, FL - Two times the gold has eluded Evelyn Scarborough, but today the two time silver medalist finally grabbed the gold and the title of Division 1-A Women's Epee Champion 2007.  It was a well deserved and sweet final victory that counted, but Scarborough was on her game the entire day, eliminating one tough customer after another.

Her final bout between Northern Colorado Fencer, Dominick, was hard fought and at one point, she fell behind 2 points, but she muscled her way back and with the determination of someone who "just wanted it," she finished 15-13.
