Clint, Gary & Doc stood in the enormous line that wrapped around the venue.  Almost 250 men were entered in the Div III men’s epee event – the second largest on the schedule.  Meanwhile, Evan waited in the same line for the Y14 men’s sabre check in.  Everyone had their equipment checked the night before because they knew it would be a madhouse today.

In the men’s epee event Clint won his first de and ended up 99 out of 200+.  Doc Matthews lost his first de, which put him at 150. Gary finished at 241.  Evan won his very first national de and ended up 56^th in Y14 Sabre.

Evan won his very first national de - a huge barrier.  He placed 56th.

Dorothy was seeded 3rd and Erin  at 42 .  Both were not able to meet their seeds.  Dorothy was knocked out in the round of 16 and ended up 10^th, Erin was knocked out in the round of 64 and ended up 84th.
