Sunday, July 7 - 10 am (Y14WE) LeAnn Moore

LeAnn checked in and found she was 60th on the seeding.  Y14 advances 100% unlike U16 and U19.. which make a 20% cut and only allow 80% to advance.

LeAnn's pool was little and tough.  Two of her opponents were on the Youth Standings and one had just won 3rd in Y12 the day before!  She wasn't skunked, though - she made a touch in the first two and two in the 3rd and 3 in the final bout.   She bettered her seed by 1 number.  She fenced Tess Finkel (Y16 top 32 the day before) and lost 15-5, but it was a good experience for her.

The vendors are all  packing up most of the fencers are gone - those behind are packing up.  The strips are being taken down on both ends while fencing continues in the middle.  It is always a little sad to watch, but you know excitement is right around the corner at the next one.   Until then - Keep  fencing!!
