Last May, the first Louisiana State High School Fencing Championships was held in Shreveport. There was a wonderful turn out especially considering it took place on Mother’s Day. This season the second LSHSFC will be held February 1-2. The tournament will again include 6 events, 3 weapons for both sexes. We will use the Sword Sports building again this year courtesy of Sword Masters, Louisiana Sword Club, and Shreveport Fencing Club.
Feel free to use this information sheet and the flier to promote this event in your area to your fencing friends. There are several requirements to enter this tournament.
ü You must be a current competitive USFA member, or apply for membership at the door.
ü You must be in high school or middle school (home school counts.)
ü You must reside in Louisiana or go to school in Louisiana.

Please pre-register. You do not have to pay pre-registration; however those not pre-registered may find the fee increased on the day of the tournament.
