Jack Harkey & Daniel Brown got things rollin' in junior men's epee pools around 9:30 (after a reseed). Daniel was looking good with one victory, but didn't pull the second one off! Jack had a decent pool but wasn't having any luck with the fencers. However he managed to pull out two wins putting him above the line. After seeding, Jack won his first D.E. and prepared for his second one. He lost it 14-15.

Meanwhile - Trena had checked in and was warming up for junior women's foil. She had the dreaded "pool from Hades" with 3 of 6 fencers in her pool being lefties, with 5 VERY good opponents.
