It was going to be a long day for those working the tournament and especially the women's events.  Already a note had been posted stating the Div 2 WE would be delayed at least an hour making it a 2:30 start.

Lee London and Layne LeBleu were the first to arrive and begin to warm up for the Div 2 MS event.  John Matthews began his preparation for the Vet 50 MF soon afterwards.  The MS event was flighted and both Lee and Layne had to wait for the strips to be assigned.

Lee, just returning from adventures at both Annapolis and Air Force Academy, was geared up with 2 knee braces and an ankle brace, and he managed to compete without re-injuring himself, but was clearly not up to his best game.  He finished at 132.

Layne was happy with his pool results but ended up doing better in Div 2 than Div 3.  He finished 115th.

LeAnn Moore checked in on time but the delays were beginning to stack up.  Her event finally went around 3:30.  She went 2-4 in pools with a low indicator.  She was seeded 115 of 149 which put her into her first d.e. in the table of 256.  She started out great but somewhere along the 2nd period she lost her edge and ended up with a defeat and 130th place.
